Bayinsure

We are Bayinsure, an independent insurance brokerage with a physical office in Wynnum, Brisbane. Our work focuses on marine, transport, commercial and property clients. We ask about the assets and activities involved before approaching relevant insurance markets.

Marine clients can have very different exposures depending on the vessel and activity. We discuss commercial vessels, pleasure craft, marinas and associated maritime operations, focusing on actual use and relevant liability or property risks before assessing the policy terms.

Transporting goods involves more than the vehicle itself. We discuss the nature of cargo, movement between locations and the responsibilities accepted by carriers or other parties. The policy should reflect the relevant transport activities and any contractual conditions.

For business insurance, we ask about premises, equipment, stock, staff and how customers interact with the operation. We compare the sections of available commercial policies, including limits, excesses and exclusions, to clarify what each arrangement is intended to protect.

Our Wynnum team works with clients on insurance placement, policy changes and claims. We have access to insurers through our broking network, but maintain direct contact with our customers. We aim to explain what an arrangement covers, its restrictions and the risks that remain with the client.
