Assets Real Estate Portland & Heywood, a locally owned and operated family business, has a legacy that reaches back to the late 1960s. Initially based in Heywood, the agency quickly expanded, opening an office in Portland at 137 Percy Street in the early 1980s. With continued growth, the business relocated to a larger office at 96 Percy Street, where it still operates today, while also retaining its original Heywood office to serve the community. In the early 1990s, the business joined the First National Group, becoming Hedditch First National, with Reg as one of the founding members of the franchise. After Reg’s passing in 2004, six of his long-time employees purchased the business, ushering in a new chapter under the name ResCom Property and Finance. In 2011, the business left the ResCom franchise to become Assets Real Estate – its current name.
