CIMC GS Logistics

CIMC GS Logistics provides international freight forwarding and transport coordination for Australian importers, exporters and trading businesses. Its Sydney operation is associated with Alexandria, New South Wales, while a Melbourne contact point supports freight enquiries in Victoria. The service covers moving commercial cargo across international routes and coordinating the steps needed to bring shipments from an overseas supplier to Australia.

Ocean freight options include full-container and less-than-container-load movements. These arrangements suit businesses that need a dedicated container or combine smaller shipments with other freight. Air freight offers another route when a different shipping schedule is needed. Customers can identify the cargo description, dimensions, packaging, origin and destination before available routes and operational requirements are discussed.

The process can also involve packing and crating, cargo consolidation, customs documentation, inland connections and delivery coordination. These tasks depend on the goods and the responsibilities agreed for the movement. Accurate invoices, packing lists and consignee information help plan customs steps. Importers, wholesale buyers and other commercial customers can discuss the handovers between collection, storage, international transport and delivery, and confirm which documents must be ready before freight is dispatched.
