Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 12 June 2026
QX Web aims to make qxweb.com.au accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies or access the website on different devices.
1. Our accessibility commitment
QX Web is a business discovery platform that helps users find, compare and contact Australian business service providers. We want our website, business listing pages, search features, forms and business portal features to be practical and accessible for users with a range of needs.
We are committed to improving accessibility as our platform develops. QX Web is an evolving service, and we aim to consider accessibility when designing, building, reviewing and improving our website and core user journeys.
2. Accessibility standard we aim to follow
QX Web aims to follow recognised web accessibility practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA where reasonably practicable.
WCAG is based on four broad principles: web content should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. We use these principles to guide our design, development and content decisions.
3. Measures we aim to take
As QX Web develops, we aim to support accessibility by:
- using clear page structure, headings and readable content;
- supporting keyboard navigation where reasonably practicable;
- using sufficient colour contrast for important text and interface elements;
- providing meaningful labels for forms, buttons and interactive controls;
- using descriptive link text where possible;
- adding alternative text for meaningful images and icons where appropriate;
- making search, filter, contact and profile management forms easier to understand and complete;
- designing responsive pages that work on desktop, tablet and mobile devices;
- testing key pages and user journeys as the platform develops;
- reviewing accessibility feedback received from users;
- improving accessibility in future releases where issues are identified.
4. Scope of this statement
This Accessibility Statement applies to qxweb.com.au and core QX Web online pages and services that we control. It may not apply to third-party websites, tools, embedded services, payment processors, analytics providers, maps, social media platforms or external pages linked from QX Web.
5. Third-party and user-submitted content
QX Web includes business listings, business descriptions, logos, images, website links, social media links and other information supplied by businesses, users, public sources or third parties. Some third-party or user-submitted content may not fully meet our accessibility goals.
Where reasonably practicable, we may edit, format, restrict, remove or request updates to user-submitted or business-submitted content to improve usability, accuracy, safety or accessibility. However, we cannot guarantee that all third-party or user-submitted content will meet accessibility standards at all times.
6. Known limitations
QX Web is under active development. Some areas may not yet fully meet our accessibility goals. Potential limitations may include:
- older or imported business listing content that was not originally created in an accessible format;
- business logos or images supplied without useful alternative text;
- third-party links, embedded tools or external websites outside our control;
- PDF, Word or other documents uploaded or linked by third parties;
- map, analytics, payment, authentication or messaging services provided by third parties;
- new portal features that may require further accessibility testing;
- content available in multiple languages where translation or layout may need further improvement.
We do not consider these limitations acceptable as a permanent outcome. We aim to address accessibility issues progressively as the platform develops, based on user impact, technical feasibility and available resources.
7. Feedback and support
If you experience difficulty using QX Web, find content that is not accessible, or need information in a different format, please contact us at info@qxweb.com.au.
When contacting us, please include as much detail as possible, such as the page URL, the issue you experienced, the device or browser you used, and any assistive technology involved. This helps us understand and respond to the issue more effectively.
We will consider accessibility feedback and aim to respond within a reasonable time. Where appropriate, we may provide information in an alternative format or make reasonable adjustments to improve access.
8. Changes to this Accessibility Statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time as QX Web develops, as accessibility standards evolve, or as we identify areas for improvement. The updated version will be posted on qxweb.com.au with a revised last updated date.
