Raywells Design Studio

Raywells Design Studio is a boutique Gold Coast building design and drafting practice. Its service scope includes home modernisation, renovations and extensions, new and luxury homes, townhouses, duplexes, unit developments, retail and commercial projects. The team includes an architectural graduate, building designers and drafting capability, giving clients a compact group that can stay involved as a project develops.

Residential work begins with the way the site and household need to function, then moves from concept decisions into detailed working drawings. Renovations require careful judgement about what to retain and how new areas should connect to the existing house, while new homes and multi-residential projects start from site potential and development objectives. The practice also provides 3D colour perspectives to help clients understand the proposed form before construction.

Raywells publishes interior specification schedules and can coordinate specialist services and construction project management. For builders and development clients, detailed construction plans support more accurate pricing and clearer communication during delivery. Retail and commercial work adds operational and technical requirements to the same design and documentation process.

Based in Benowa on the Gold Coast, the practice serves the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Tweed Coast and Northern Rivers and also describes work across Australia.
