The studio develops project-specific responses to site and client lifestyles, bringing form, material, natural light, climate response and construction detail together. Rietveld Architects was established in 2016.

It is an Osborne Park architecture practice centred on bespoke and high-quality residential work, including new homes, coastal projects, alterations and additions. Core project types include single houses, coastal homes, bespoke residences, alterations and additions, and smaller residential developments.

Across new homes, alterations and additions, Rietveld Architects starts with site and living requirements, using form, light, material and interior relationships to create a tailored response that can be carried through to construction.

From project initiation through detailed delivery, Rietveld Architects can provide architectural design, residential architecture, concept design, construction documentation, renovation design and sustainable architecture. Design iteration and consultant coordination are used to resolve approvals, construction logic and technical requirements before they become site problems. As the work moves from concept into detailed design, Rietveld Architects uses drawings, specifications and consultant coordination to make the project progressively more precise. Spatial, material and construction decisions remain tied to the core idea established at the outset.
