Rezen Studio

Rezen Studio is a boutique architecture and interiors practice in East Fremantle led by Zenifa and Rhys Bowring. Its design approach centres on the experience of people in built environments, using spatial order, natural light, circulation, material character and the qualities of existing places as practical starting points for design.

The portfolio demonstrates particular strength in existing buildings and adaptive reuse. Rezen also works extensively in commercial and workplace environments.

Existing buildings and adaptive reuse begin with understanding what is already there. Rezen Studio identifies spatial, material and construction qualities worth retaining, then introduces new work that answers contemporary use, code and comfort requirements.

Rezen Studio works across architectural design, commercial architecture, residential architecture, concept design, construction documentation and interior architecture. As a project moves toward delivery, spatial design, technical detail and consultant coordination are developed together rather than as separate exercises. Design, approvals and technical work are treated as a continuous process. As the project develops, Rezen Studio coordinates architecture, interiors and specialist systems into a coherent set of information, protecting the central spatial intent during delivery.
