Hyland DraftingVerified

Hyland Drafting operates in Newcastle as a residential building design and drafting studio, with a portfolio spanning new homes, acreage and rural homes, alterations and additions, granny flats, DA drawing packages and residential construction documentation. The work is organised differently for a new home, acreage or rural residence, alteration, addition or granny flat, and the level of drawing detail grows with the stage reached.

The principal services at Hyland Drafting are Architectural Design, Concept Design, Residential Architecture, Renovation Design, Development Application Drawings, DA Approval, Construction Documentation, and 3D Rendering. Concept design sets the foundation, residential architecture develops the main spatial and formal decisions, development application drawings and DA support carry the proposal through the relevant process, and construction documentation adds the technical layer required later.

Hyland Drafting is focused on residential work, with acreage and rural homes bringing a different site scale from suburban additions or granny flats. The service path moves from concept design into development application drawings, DA support, construction documentation and 3D rendering, keeping the drawing work centred on the needs of each residential site.
