Express Plumbing

Our story began in 1920, when JT Graves and Son Pty Ltd was founded in Hobart as a family-run plumbing business built on reliable service and quality workmanship. Over the years, we earned a reputation for being dependable and professional, becoming a trusted part of the local community as the business continued to grow. In 2012, we began a new chapter by bringing Express Plumbing into the JT Graves and Son family. Express had been a respected name in Hobart since September 1970, with a strong reputation for quality work. After the acquisition, we chose to continue trading as Express Plumbing, bringing together two long-standing Tasmanian businesses with shared values and a strong local legacy. In 2015, we expanded our services to include fire protection, establishing Express Fire. To ensure quality control, local strategy, and faster solutions Tasmania-wide, we established our manufacturing facility in Hobart to construct pipes exclusively for fire prevention systems as a component in this expansion. Express Fire now provides comprehensive fire protection services statewide, operating from additional offices in Devonport and Launceston, allowing us to effectively service all regions of Tasmania.
