Emote Digital

Emote Digital is a Hawthorn digital agency that has designed, developed and supported websites and eCommerce platforms for Australian businesses since 2001. Strategy, UX, design and engineering are combined within one project model, serving startups, growing companies and national brands. Work includes business websites, online stores, customer portals and connected digital experiences built around operational and commercial goals. Website and eCommerce capability spans WordPress, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Shopify, with custom themes, plugins, front-end work and backend functionality available where required. More complex commerce projects can connect ERP, accounting, search, chat, payment and other business platforms. B2B websites and customer portals can also incorporate authentication, quotes, accounts, ordering and tailored user experiences. Projects typically start with strategy and UX to define audiences, content, product structure and important conversion journeys before design and development. Engineering considers mobile performance, speed, security and long-term maintainability, while integration reduces manual work between systems. Existing platforms can be reworked or extended where the underlying technology still has value. Website support continues after launch through software updates, performance work, security, issue resolution and new features.
