Blitzm Systems

Blitzm Systems is a software engineering company based in Carlton, Melbourne, building web, mobile and cloud software for businesses, startups and government organisations since 2011. The company is engineer-led, with projects moving from system analysis and architecture through development, testing, deployment and continued support. Its focus is on business-critical systems and digital platforms expected to remain in operation over time. Custom software development covers web portals, mobile applications, SaaS, APIs and complex backend systems. Existing applications and workflows can be analysed to determine what should be retained, replaced or integrated before new engineering begins. Mobile products can share backend services and APIs with web platforms, supporting environments that require complex permissions, high availability or offline capability. Cloud engineering spans AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, including infrastructure design, deployment, monitoring and continued operations. Keeping application and cloud engineering connected allows performance, reliability, security and scalability decisions to be made consistently. Existing cloud environments can also be reviewed and optimised for architecture, cost and observability. Specialist capability includes AI and geospatial information systems. AI work can incorporate business data, model integration and automation, while GIS projects support mapping, location and spatial-data systems.
