Bespoke Dental is a family-owned and operated single-location dental practice at Suite 1, McKay Gardens Professional Centre, 5 McKay Gardens, Turner ACT 2612, in Canberra’s inner north, approximately three kilometres from the Civic centre with on-site paid parking. Established in 1994, the clinic is run by founders Dr Jamil Aqel and Dr Khalil Aqel alongside Dr Miranda Sageman and a team of oral health therapists, hygienists and nurses who share the practice’s core value that excellent dentistry requires time—time to know the patient, time to plan, and time to treat without rush. New-patient examinations run 50–60 minutes and combine X-rays, intraoral photography, periodontal assessment and unhurried conversation. Clinical scope covers preventive and general dentistry (check-ups, scale and cleans, fluoride, fissure sealants, white fillings, minimally invasive restorations), endodontics (root canal therapy), restorative work (crowns, bridges, implant-supported prosthetics), cosmetic solutions (porcelain veneers, in-chair and take-home teeth whitening, Invisalign clear aligners, smile design) and adjunctive care (custom mouthguards, TMJ/bruxism splints, sleep-apnoea oral appliances, children’s dentistry building long-term hygiene habits). The practice is QIP-accredited, accepts all major health funds with HICAPS on-the-spot claiming, supports CDBS-eligible children, and processes payment by cash, EFTPOS and credit card including Amex. Beyond clinical work, Bespoke Dental runs a B1G1 partnership through which every patient visit contributes toward days of life-saving water in developing communities, publicly tracking progress toward one million days. Opening hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm.
