Design House + Drafting Studio

Design House + Drafting Studio is based in Collaroy and focuses on residential design across Sydney’s Northern Beaches and surrounding suburbs. Its work includes new homes, first-floor additions, renovations and extensions, secondary dwellings, garages and carports, together with interior and outdoor living spaces. Existing-home projects can involve reconfiguring rooms, creating additional floor area and improving the use of light and aspect, while new homes begin with the relationship between the site, building and everyday living needs.

Services include Architectural Design, Concept Design, Residential Architecture, Renovation Design, Sustainable Architecture, Development Application Drawings, DA Approval, Construction Documentation, 3D Rendering and Interior Architecture. Projects can progress from concept sketches to DA, CDC or CC drawing packages, with 3D models and renders used to clarify form and spatial relationships. BASIX documentation can also be incorporated where required.

Interior work can cover living and dining areas, kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, while outdoor design includes entertaining areas, studios, cabanas, pools and decks. By developing the house, internal rooms and outdoor areas together, the studio keeps residential additions and new work connected to one consistent design direction.
