Akyra

Akyra is a Moreton Bay and North Lakes consultancy specialising in human resources, employee relations and industrial relations, with a brand history dating to 2006. It works particularly with family businesses, not-for-profits and growing employers, treating people management, compliance and organisational change as connected issues.

The North Lakes office gives the practice a physical base for northern Greater Brisbane and Moreton Bay clients, with remote delivery extending its reach across Queensland. The model is well suited to smaller employers whose management complexity is increasing, businesses seeking a continuing HR partner, and organisations reviewing people systems during growth or change.

Services include employment contracts, workplace processes, wage benchmarking, HR systems, performance management, onboarding, disciplinary matters and dismissals, as well as broader employee and industrial relations support. Akyra's HR PulseCheck reviews records, recruitment processes, handbooks, performance systems and the industrial instruments applying to the workforce.

Employers can use retained support or engage the team for a defined project or risk issue. Akyra places weight on proactive risk management, building workable processes before problems occur while remaining available to guide managers through employee relations, performance or compliance matters when they do arise.
