Studio Three Design & Drafting

Studio Three Design & Drafting works from Pakenham and regional Victoria, focusing on residential and commercial architectural drafting and project coordination. The studio develops each commission around the site, the way the building will be used, planning requirements and the practical objectives of the project. Its work includes new homes, residential alterations and additions, commercial work and property-development documentation. From the first discussion, scope, spatial priorities and the approval pathway are considered together so that an early concept can continue into planning, permit and construction documentation without losing its original direction. During design, Studio Three Design & Drafting considers layout, site response, daylight, circulation, architectural character and buildability as connected decisions. The studio maintains a close-knit working model and uses established consultant relationships to coordinate the specialist information required at different project stages. Residential work is shaped around everyday living and long-term use, while development and commercial projects also address site yield, planning controls, parking and access, building use and consultant requirements. This allows the design to become progressively more resolved rather than being recreated at each project stage.
