StewartBrown was originally established in 1939 by Lionel R Stewart and with John Brown joining in 1949 the firm was known as Lionel R Stewart, Brown and Co. This was later abbreviated to Stewart, Brown & Co Chartered Accountants to eventually become StewartBrown.
