Stanes Transport is a locally owned and operated Transport company based in Alice Springs. Stanes Transport officially began in 2009 by Owner/Director Mark Stanes. Prior to this, Mark's father Bruce has been moving freight across Central Australia since the early 80’s. With his father Bruce and mother Shirley, Mark has worked tirelessly to build a reputable high-quality transport business specialising in the delivery of freight to remote localities across the Central Australian and Barkly regions. We are a family owned business who employs local people and we pride ourselves on running a professional service with vehicles and equipment that are maintained to the highest standard. Stanes Transport currently transports refrigerated, frozen and general freight to remote community stores, local and state government agencies such as schools and health clinics. Independent corporations and various mining and exploration companies not only in Central Australia but also Western Australia, Queensland and South Australia utilise the services of Stanes Transport. Stanes Transport is also experienced at moving dangerous goods, wide and oversized loads, vehicle recovery and hotshots. We meet all requirements as outlined by governing bodies such as the Department of Transport, Motor Vehicle Registry and Environmental Health. We are also fully insured which ensures that Stanes Transport can provide confidence to our clients that we are committed to providing them with the top line service that they deserve.
