The Beck family has owned and managed Riverfront Motel since purchasing the property in 2003. Since then, the motel has undergone a thoughtful program of sensitive refurbishment, working closely with local design studio BOYDE to honour the site’s character while enhancing comfort and style. With a background in commercial fishing and farming, food has always been close to our hearts. In recent years, the restaurant has become a key focus, showcasing honest, well-crafted dishes — and locals have certainly taken notice. Riverfront Motel was once operated as two separate businesses: Highway Village Motor Inn and Tudor Holiday Village. Under new ownership and a fresh vision, the properties were brought together and reimagined as one cohesive, resort-style destination. Set across eight acres of waterfront land, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD.
