Relate HR

Relate HR is a Brisbane-based HR consulting and outsourcing firm supporting start-ups, scale-ups and small to medium businesses. It is designed to operate like an external people function, helping organisations build the infrastructure needed for growth rather than treating policies, recruitment and performance as disconnected tasks. Services include people strategy, organisational and role design, co-sourcing, recruitment, onboarding, leadership development, culture, diversity and performance.

Its delivery approach moves through scope, design, delivery and embedding. The team first clarifies the current situation and desired future state, then creates practical HR solutions aligned with the organisation’s goals and culture. Implementation support and ongoing involvement are used to help new practices remain part of normal operations.

Recruitment work focuses on both hiring and the quality of the process, including control points, tools, onboarding and procedures that clients can ultimately run themselves. Relate HR also works on turnover, leadership, engagement, communication, reward and culture, giving growing businesses a way to connect attraction, retention and performance. From Brisbane, the firm provides flexible HR capability for employers that need structured people systems without immediately building a full internal HR department.
