Dr Angela Anthonysamy is offering group and individual supervision for clinicians wishing to increase their knowledge and build practical skills for treating clients with complex presentations in therapy. The supervision will focus on how to use somatic therapies to increase the mind-body connection as part of the therapy process with clients. The group will be for psychologists currently in private practice who wish to learn how to integrate the use of somatic practices in their work with clients presenting with complex or developmental trauma. The supervision will involve one or more case presentations with the focus on how to use the body or somatic techniques to support the process of working with the client’s presenting concerns. This process can include demos or role-plays to maximise the learning. The participation in the group can be a one-off, occasional as needed, or continuous monthly. At this stage it will be a once-a-month group. Similar online group supervision can be requested if there is a group of 5 to 6 people interested.
