MYMYMY Architecture

Within Canberra's distinctive planning and neighbourhood context, MYMYMY Architecture develops architecture from project-specific questions. MYMYMY Architecture was established in 2020 and is based in Fyshwick. The team moves across architecture, interiors and objects, using material, furniture, lighting and building form together to shape a complete atmosphere.

The practice handles residential, hospitality, commercial, interiors, furniture and lighting objects through a small interdisciplinary studio. Each commission begins with a clear problem frame before spatial, environmental, approval and construction questions are brought into the same decision cycle. The practice moves closely between conceptual expression and technical resolution, with particular attention to custom detail, patterns of use and the emotional layers of a space.

MYMYMY Architecture suits clients who value a transparent process and want to understand trade-offs before making commitments. Complex issues are divided into discussable stages, with visual material, written information and regular collaboration building shared understanding. Architectural value is considered through long-term comfort, adaptability, maintenance and sense of place, not simply appearance on completion. Each project can therefore respond to its location, users and available construction resources.
