Welcome to Maxwells Skin & Body Clinic , a luxurious and boutique skin and body sanctuary nestled in the heart of Main Beach , Gold Coast. With more than 30 years of experience in skin cell biology and the biochemistry of ageing, our founder Julie Maxwell has built this clinic on a foundation of science and true care. Julie’s journey began far from the spa world, in the charming town of Maitland, in NSW’s Hunter Valley. While studying gemmology and working in a local jewellery store, she discovered a deep love of beauty and precision. That same curiosity eventually led her to the beauty industry, where she trained and refined her expertise in glycolic acid treatments, even becoming a national lecturer in the technique. Her travels took her across the world, from Italy to New York, Paris, and beyond, exploring the most renowned salons and aesthetic ateliers. But Julie wanted more than observation; she wanted hands-on connection with clients. So she returned to Australia to open a space that was highly effective and rooted in education.
