Justice Family Lawyers

Justice Family Lawyers is a Sydney CBD practice focused on family law and the legal issues that arise before, during and after separation. The firm advises on divorce, parenting arrangements, children’s matters, property settlements, financial agreements and family law litigation. Clients can begin with an assessment of their family circumstances, assets, liabilities and immediate priorities before deciding how the matter should progress.

For property and financial matters, the lawyers can assist with issues involving homes, investment property, business interests, superannuation and other assets or debts. Parenting work considers living arrangements, time with each parent, schooling, health and other practical decisions affecting children. Where clients have already reached agreement on some issues, the firm can help formalise those outcomes; where significant disagreement remains, it can assist with evidence, negotiations and procedural preparation.

Mediation and other forms of dispute resolution are an important part of the firm’s family law work. The team considers the level of conflict, urgency and scope of disagreement when determining whether negotiation or mediation may provide a workable path. If an agreed outcome cannot be reached, the practice also represents clients in formal court proceedings and explains the documents, steps and strategic choices involved as the case develops.
