JUDD.studio

JUDD.studio combines local knowledge with focused investigation for each commission. Established in 2007, JUDD.studio is a boutique Canberra practice spanning architecture and urban strategy. The team considers development opportunity, city space and policy context so individual buildings can connect to neighbourhoods, public realm and longer-term urban value.

Services concentrate on architecture and urban strategy combining urban design, planning policy, interiors, curation and stakeholder engagement. Across different scales, the team considers relationships between building, street, landscape, neighbours and the routines inside. Its multidisciplinary capability supports early feasibility and strategic testing before conclusions are translated into design, approvals and delivery documents.

From concept to delivery, JUDD.studio continues checking whether the original goals remain visible in scale, movement, daylight, material and environmental performance. The team adapts where necessary without allowing short-term changes to weaken the overall order. Clients receive clear information that can support approvals, pricing, coordination and construction, while understanding the spatial reasoning behind the main decisions. The outcome is intended to be useful, buildable and meaningful over time.
