Hourigan Visa & Migration Services

Hourigan Visa & Migration Services is an independent immigration consultancy based in Canberra. The practice advises people seeking to study, work, join relatives or establish a longer-term life in Australia. It also works with employers on sponsorship and visa questions. Founded by John Hourigan, the firm concentrates on migration procedures, citizenship and professional advice.

Skilled and employer-sponsored migration are significant parts of its work. The team can assist clients in examining visa pathways, identifying relevant information and understanding how sponsorship arrangements may affect an application.

Hourigan assists with partner and family visas, parent-related applications, student visas, graduate matters and citizenship. These categories involve different personal histories and documentary requirements. A family applicant may need to organise relationship information, while a graduate may need to clarify how study and work plans affect a future application.

The consultancy also addresses visa refusals, cancellations, administrative reviews and migration compliance. Complicated matters may require examination of earlier applications and government notices. Clients from Canberra, nearby New South Wales and elsewhere can enquire by telephone or email and arrange a consultation in person or remotely. Its Canberra office offers appointments by prior arrangement.
