GAP Designers

GAP Designers is a residential and commercial building design studio based in North Strathfield and Blue Bay, focusing on new homes, granny flats, duplexes, townhouses, alterations and additions, retail, commercial and industrial projects. The studio works at both the level of architectural form and the level of project information, gradually developing early design decisions into drawings that can support the next stage of the commission.

GAP Designers provides Architectural Design, Concept Design, Residential Architecture, Commercial Architecture, Renovation Design, Development Application Drawings, DA Approval, Construction Documentation, and 3D Rendering at different levels of project detail. Smaller residential changes may concentrate on design and drafting, while larger development work can require more extensive application, approval and construction documentation, but both follow the same underlying project logic.

GAP Designers works across both Sydney and the Central Coast and across both residential and non-residential building types. A granny flat or townhouse carries different spatial and approval questions from a retail, commercial or industrial commission, so each project draws on a different balance of concept design, architectural design, approval drawings, documentation and 3D rendering.
