Korden Design

Korden Design is a boutique building design and drafting studio based in Berwick, with residential work at the centre of its practice and additional experience in commercial and industrial projects. The team designs custom homes, townhouses, multi-unit developments, renovations and extensions, and can also provide professional drafting where a client already has a defined design direction. Its compact structure supports direct communication and continuity between stages.

Custom homes are developed around the household brief, site, budget and preferred architectural character, with period, contemporary and modern directions all represented in the studio’s work. 3D project representations help clients understand building form and compare design choices, while energy-efficient design can inform the layout and technical decisions. Renovations begin with the existing dwelling and address new rooms, additional levels, garages or living areas in a way that keeps old and new work coherent.

Townhouse and multi-unit projects require closer attention to dwelling placement, garages, parking, vehicle turning, visitor spaces and private open space. Korden Design can progress from concept design into development design, development application drawings and construction documentation while coordinating engineers, surveyors, energy assessors and other specialists required for a building permit.
