dion seminara architecture

dion seminara architecture is a Morningside-based Brisbane practice working across new homes, renovations, extensions, interiors and broader architectural advice. The studio uses a client-focused process that considers daily living and long-term use before developing the design, and can support projects from early advice and site thinking through design development, documentation and coordination. Its residential work is particularly centred on making existing homes function better while integrating new spaces coherently. The practice allows clients to choose different levels of involvement to suit the complexity of a project, from early architectural advice through to a broader design and project-management service. For renovation work, the process considers how the existing home currently functions, what the household may need in the future and how new spaces should connect to the original building. The objective is not simply to add floor area but to improve circulation, comfort and the relationship between old and new. Services cover new homes, extensions, renovations and interior design, with broader integrated design thinking also visible across the studio’s work.
