Design Studio 407

Operating from Earlwood, Design Studio 407 is an architecture and interiors practice working across high-end homes, alterations and additions, dual occupancies, hospitality, workplace and retail projects. Because each building type brings its own existing conditions and functional demands, the studio establishes a separate set of design priorities for each commission rather than relying on a universal template.

Design Studio 407 covers Architectural Design, Concept Design, Residential Architecture, Commercial Architecture, Interior Architecture, Feasibility Design, Development Design, and Construction Documentation. This combination allows a commission to move from relatively open design exploration toward a more settled set of drawings, with the level of architectural, development and technical information increasing as project decisions are made.

Design Studio 407 brings architecture and interior architecture together across residential, hospitality, workplace and retail work. High-end homes and dual occupancies are approached at the scale of the whole building, while commercial interiors require closer attention to use, circulation and the relationship between internal space and the surrounding architecture.
