Butterfly

Butterfly is a Melbourne CBD website and digital product agency combining UX/UI, website development, mobile applications, accessibility and long-term technical support. The company works across education, healthcare, not-for-profit, government and other organisations where digital projects often need to balance brand experience, complex content, multiple user groups and ongoing maintenance. Design and software engineering are handled as connected parts of the same delivery process. Core capabilities include website development, business websites, mobile apps, UX/UI, redesign and ongoing maintenance, with a strong focus on WCAG accessibility and inclusive digital experiences. For organisations managing large content structures or diverse audiences, the team can address information architecture, navigation, interface design and technical implementation together. Existing platforms can also be improved through redesign, engineering upgrades and continued performance work. Butterfly collaborates with internal teams and stakeholders throughout discovery and design so that organisational goals and user needs are understood before development is finalised. Engineering decisions consider accessibility, security, maintainability and performance rather than focusing only on appearance at launch. Hosting and support services allow the relationship to continue through software updates, issue resolution and incremental optimisation after release.
