Bones Studio

Bones Studio is a small architecture and interior design practice based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Its project experience spans residential, commercial, retail and hospitality work, combining creative design with an awareness of commercial and delivery requirements. This allows the studio to address both the character of a space and the practical conditions that will shape how it is built and used.

Services can begin with briefing and concept design before moving into developed design, documentation, tendering and construction-stage administration. Rather than forcing every project into the same scope, the practice can tailor the level of involvement to the client and project. This is useful for renovations that may need careful early decisions as well as commercial spaces where design and operational requirements evolve together.

The portfolio includes Queenslander renovations, houses, apartments, pool-related residential work and hospitality or retail environments. Architecture and interiors are developed in parallel where appropriate, helping external form, circulation, materials, joinery and user experience remain connected. The team also places importance on relationships with builders and consultants throughout procurement and construction.

Operating from McLachlan Street in Fortitude Valley, Bones Studio has the scale of a boutique practice and is suited to clients who value direct engagement with the design team.
