Macquarie Accounting was established in July 1992 by John Langford and Diane Matthews. The partners both come from a Chartered Accounting background and they saw a need for a niche accounting firm which would be able to service the needs of small to medium businesses in Tasmania by giving a high degree of personal service. The firm was fortunate to be able to establish an excellent client base in its early years. This has enabled steady growth and the firm now services a broad range of clients within Tasmania, throughout mainland Australia and overseas. Industry specialisations including fishing, medical and allied health services, retailing, construction, legal practices and self managed superannuation funds.
