Company Overview
In 2006, after a late-night craving for takeaway pasta, Leo and Mary had a bold idea... why not create the place they wished existed? Despite having no hospitality experience and friends calling them crazy, they opened the first Pasta Gogo in Unley. What started as a leap of faith quickly became a family passion. Their sons, Anthony and Lucas, grew up in the business, while Nonno Tony and Nonna Carmela provided fresh herbs, and Leo’s sister, Julie, played a key role until 2025. Today, Anthony and Lucas lead Pasta Gogo with their partners, Karoline and Mia, expanding the brand while Nonna Carmela still handcrafts fresh gnocchi. Strong partnerships have fueled growth, with Blake co-owning Glenelg and Prospect, Eli joining Modbury, and lifelong friends George and Michael helping launch the seventh store in Hawthorn, Melbourne. From a simple craving to a thriving business, Pasta Gogo remains true to its roots - serving fresh, authentic pasta with family at its heart.
