Private Security Licence At Leader Locksmiths we are one of the few 24hr locksmiths in Melbourne that hold Private Security Registration, licenced by the licencing services division of the Victoria Police. This is the same body that polices gun control. This licence requires that you have several references from official positions, and have been working in the industry for a number of years. All of our service technicians hold an individual private security licence / security advisor and security install. These licences are law in Victoria and you should always ask to see a contractor’s licence. ​ Working With Children Check The Working With Children Check (WWCC) is a legal requirement for people doing any work around minors. The WWCC screens people’s criminal record and in some cases, their professional conduct records. The WWCC aims to prevent people who pose a risk to children from working or volunteering with them. All of our service technicians hold a valid WWCC. ​ Victorian Construction Industry White Card All of our service technicians hold a valid Victorian Construction Industry White Card. A white card is evidence that you have completed a general construction induction course. This course is mandatory for anyone who works in the construction industry.
