Kensington (Melbourne, VIC) has been the home to hair off bellair since 1988. The salon started as Kensington Hair and soon became a meeting point for the local community. Kensington artists exhibited their work at the salon, which held several openings. The place was renamed to Kensington Hair Gallery, then a move around the corner – from Bellair Street to Macaulay Road – inspired its current name. Career in the UK – A country girl from the Mallee, in country Victoria, Wendy trained in Melbourne, then spent a period in the Cornwall region (United Kingdom). There she enjoyed the experience of starting her own hair salon, when she was only 20-years-old, before returning to Melbourne.
