About Event Strategies

In 2000, Event Strategies Pty Ltd was formed to replace Endurance Sports Promotions, a 13 year partnership between David Williams and Malcolm Robertson that ended when David moved to Queensland. Malcolm is the sole director. He is a past elite competitor and experienced sports promoter who has also been a registered teacher. He holds a Bachelor of Education and has completed post graduate studies in exercise physiology. In his position as Chair of the Triathlon Australia Race Directors’ Executive Committee, Malcolm provided advice to Triathlon Australia. He has also lectured on event management and provides consultancy services nationally for a range of sporting events. Trained casual staff are employed to manage the many specialist event day tasks. Event Strategies is proudly South Australian, and while we will consider interstate and overseas contracts, our core business is intrastate events. We are adept at working with event owners to deliver precise services, and these now extend to the provision of electronic timing.
